Celia Macaraeg grew up in the area, graduating in the Murphysboro High School Class of 1987. Immediately after high school graduation, Celia moved to Chicago to pursue her studies in business. Graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a BSBA in Business Management and Accounting, and from Lewis University with an MBA concentrating in Finance, Celia continued on to have a 30-year career in finance with the last 20-years as Chief Financial Officer for a Chicago-based company.
Having had the ambition for several years to develop a wedding venue in her home town, Celia finally made the difficult decision to “take the plunge” and to go out on her own to pursue the path of entrepreneurship. Her goal is to leave corporate America to pursue more personally fulfilling work, while achieving work/life balance in a happy and healthy environment. Helping couples plan one of the most important days of their lives is what Celia considers to be an extremely rewarding endeavor. She is looking forward to returning back home to enjoy life in a smaller community, surrounded by friends and family.
As the venue owner, Celia is there to help you achieve your perfect day. From providing personal tours, to assisting with planning and coordination, she will ensure that your event will run flawlessly.
“The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.”
